Payments:
Prices are in Euros and include 19% VAT. Payment for the car rental can be made in cash or by all major credit/debit cards.
Documentation necessary for car rental:

Passport or ID

A copy of Rental Voucher/eVoucher
*(Rental Vouncher/eVourcher will be sent to customer by email as a confirmation for the booking)
Driver’s Requirements:
Driver must be between the ages of 21-75 and have a driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years before the date of the rental agreement. International driver’s license is required if the license is not in Latin characters.
In the event that the driver is under the age of 25, there is an additional “Young Driver’s” charge for insurance coverage.
PLEASE NOTE
Our company provides drivers under 21 years old the possibility of renting a vehicle upon request. The renter should contact one of our company’s representatives by email or telephone prior to the rental of the car.

Infant seats/ Baby seats/ Baby boosters – FREE of charge
GPS (Navigation System) charge for the whole rental period – 15€
Non-working hours delivery/collection charge – 35€
Insurance options
- T.P.I. (Third Party Liability Insurance) with excess. Basic insurance included in the rental cost, covers the driver from any legal liability to a third party T.P.I. insurance does not cover tyres, wheels, auto glass and underside of the vehicle.
Excess for Vehicle Categories: Economy & Mini-Van – 600€
- C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver ) with excess. This type of insurance reduces the excess amount in the event of an accident or damage. CDW insurance does not cover tyres, wheels, auto glass and underside of the vehicle.
Excess for Vehicle Categories: Economy & Mini-Van – 200€
- S.C.D.W. (Super Collision Damage Waiver) – no excess. S.C.D.W covers all type of damages caused by an accident, as well as tyres, wheels, auto glass and underside of the vehicle.
*All types of insurance (T.P.I/ C.D.W/ S.C.D.W) do not cover damage caused by:
- Driving the rental vehicle in North Cyprus (occupied Cyprus) and the National Park of Akamas.
- Driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
- Driving on terrain that is not suitable for a car (off road driving)
- The insurance does not cover damages incurred to the gearbox, the engine and the interior of the car

*Compulsory insurance charges for young drivers (drivers under 25) – 5€ per day
PLEASE NOTE
Drivers at the ages of 21-25 and 71-75 are not eligible to be covered by the S.C.D.W. or the C.D.W insurance plans.
Car type
Reservations are only accepted by car group/category and not by car make/model.
Fuel
The car is supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same level of fuel. Fuel level will be noted on the car hire agreement.
Fines
The renter is responsible for all parking and traffic violations during the rental period.
Deposit
The deposit amount will be held on the main driver’s credit card or by cash payment. This is to cover liability excess, traffic violations, refueling costs and other charges incurred during the rental. The deposit amount will be returned /unblocked at the end of your rental.
Cancellation/modification of booking.
For cancellations and/or modifications to the booking, the customer must contact the Arion Company by email (info@arioncarrentals.com) or telephone (+35796489800 ).
If cancellation is requested 72 hours or more prior to pick up date, you will receive a 100% refund.
If cancellation is requested less than 72 hours prior to pick -up date, you will receive a 5.0% refund.
If cancellation is requested less than 24 hours prior to pick -up date, you will not receive any refund.
Damage / Accident
In the event of an accident, you must call one of our company’s representatives, the insurance company and the police. You should not move the vehicle before the police and the insurance company inspect the vehicle. If you ignore these instructions, your insurance will become invalid. You should also report any damages to your car rental company.
Rental period l extension
In the event of a possible extension to the rental agreement for the car, you have to inform the company’s agent about the changes of the date of the contract no later than 24 hours before the end of the rental term. You will be advised to come to the “Arion” rental points in order to arrange an extension of the car rental. * The company ARION has the right to refuse an extension of the rental period, in case of unavailability of a car.
Driving in Northern Cyprus
Driving to Northern Cyprus (occupied side of Cyprus) is not allowed. The company will not be able to assist you in case of an emergency and the car’s insurance is not valid there.
Delivery-Collection
Collection & Delivery is available 7 days a week, from 09:00 – 18:00 (including bank holidays).
Please note
– In case of loss, damage or destruction of the car keys, there is a charge of 150€-200€
– In case of loss, damage or destruction of the Satellite Navigation System (GPS) the charge is 200€
Arion Car Rentals reserves the right to refuse service without justification.
In this case, any payment during reservation will be fully refunded.
